History

Phillips Coaches was formed in 1994. Originally based in Wickford, Linda & Phillip moved to South Woodham Ferrers in 1998. It was a poignant move to Hullbridge Rd as the coach yard had been in Linda’s family over 60 years. Linda is the grand daughter of the late Norman Read of Ferrers Coaches and both Linda & Phillip have over 25 years experience in the coaching industry.

Phillips Coaches specialises in all types of group travel from school contracts, private hire, excursions, tours and holidays. Our aim is to provide safe reliable transport in comfortable, clean vehicles with a friendly service and competitive prices.

Our fleet of mini buses and coaches range from 16 – 50 seats and are all fitted with seatbelts. The vehicles are regularly maintained to a high standard.

Our drivers are friendly, fully trained and have been enhanced checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)

We are members of the Confederation of Passenger Transport and comply with their code of conduct requirements
